Costa Azul Residential Building, Arrecife

INFORMATION

Initially the building was designed for office use and had to be adapted for residential housing, quite a challenge.

In this project we are immersed in the design and development of a multidisciplinary building with 5 commercial spaces and 24 homes, quite a handicap, not only to achieve a union between two types of use where the commercial success of the premises would prevail combined with the pleasure and quality of life of the homes.

As a standout element of the building, we find the façade, composed of two inclined planes that increase the size of the floor as we go up in height, creating greater spaciousness in the upper homes.

The façade gives a unique architectural category to this corner building, located in a high-traffic location in the capital, Arrecife.
